Wow, in the last week, I have worked with a Kitchen Tune Up kitchen remodeling business, a well known Channel-Psychic-Teacher, and an Alpaca Ranch. What an incredible week!

And as I begin work for all of these businesses, what a diverse undertaking to do all the keyword and competition research for such a group as these. I am really excited to get started.

I spent yesterday morning brainstorming with Maxine Jones, a well known teacher, trainer, author, channel for St. Germain and psychic as well as other things. We were talking about the new videos I did for her site and also the whole focus and intent of the site. It is all about creating a relationship with and connecting with your Soul and how to do that. She offers a free membership to her site, free classes and meditations weekly and monthly as well as many other things. Her site, www.ConnectWithYourSoul.com will launch on August 1st.

Bruce and Lori Morgan are long time friends of mine. Bruce and I grew up together in Alamosa, Colorado and went almost all the way through school together in our small home town. He stopped by for a visit a few weeks ago and we got to talking about business and I told him that my specialty is getting businesses on the front page of Google for their search term, or the search term that most people try to find them under. After a little looking and not finding, I realized that their corporate website is hardly ranking at all and that is just not good.
So I made an appointment with the boss of the marketing wing of their business…Lori, and showed her what I could do. I am so excited to get their business listed front and center in Colorado Springs for kitchen tuneups and kitchen cabinet refacing and resurfacing jobs.

Last evening I spent at Aardwolf Alpacas, a full service Alpaca Ranch in Colorado. Wow, what a learning experience! I got to meet the newest arrivals of baby alpacas at the ranch as well as all the rest of the herd too, including the big dogs who guard them night and day.
I learned so much about Alpacas while I was there. I knew nothing and Phyllis and Mike were so great in teaching me, educating me about the whole Alpaca business.
I guess that’s what really sets them apart from all the rest of the breeders and sellers of Alpacas in the country. When you buy a baby alpaca or starter herd of Alpacas from Phyllis and Mike at Aardwolf Alpacas, you get them along with the deal. They teach you, train you, work with you and beside you and really help you learn the business so that your Alpaca herd is always in good hands.They are amazing teachers and really care about their Alpacas.

So it was a wonderful week for me in the online marketing help for local business field. I really love what I do. I have had two people approach me this week to build a website for them. In both cases I have told them that they need this training before we can go forward.

What I realized is that they, like most people wanting to do a business online, had a great idea, but had done no real research online, no competition study, no keyword research, is the market or niche even viable…and then I realized that I would be doing all this for them. I have noticed lately that not all businesses are created equal… I hear some of you now saying..DUH!?!

Online Marketing Help for Local Business is what I do, who I am… I really do want to help.

What I notice now more than ever is that if a business is investing in themselves, and doing it well, then they will probably already be online, have a website and really getting it that new business is going to come from online searchers. Those who are not putting out some ad money are scrambling to get by and hoping that the old ways will start working again.

I live in a small town. I had a local Chiropractor recently ask me if the local citizens really do look online to find things. While I was talking to him, his wife/receptionist was busy searching Google for things that I was bringing up in the conversation. I basically told him to think baby boomer and younger.

Older folks are really getting into the computer, but they will just as easily pick up a phone book too. Boomers on down will have 3 computers at their fingertips and picking up a phone book is not in their vocabulary anymore.

The Dr. confessed that he looked everything up online… and yet his business wasn’t online yet…hmmm, I guess there is still work to be done, convincing business owners that this is the wave of, not the future…but NOW!

I am sooooo excited. I re- did my site today. I now have video examples and website examples of my work to help local business get seen and be found on googles front page on here now. And tomorrow there will be some more videos. I just ran out of time tonight to get them all done and up on the website.

I am so psyched! I am so excited! What other word can I use to tell you how really pumped up I am about how a local business can not only be saved, but thrive in today’s economy by dominating google’s front page for their major search term/keyword/niche.
